Anamorphic 3D painting workshop
From June 2 to 4 the international 3D street art festival “Illusions of
Riga” will take place. This is the first festival of its kind in the Baltic states and it will take place in culture and recreational park “Mežaparks”,
Riga. Ritums Ivanovs will be participating alongside with 12 other internationally recognized artists will create huge large-scale
anamorphic 3D drawings on the pavement of “Mežaparks”.
The goal of the festival - enriching the recreational and
entertainment experiences offered by “Mežaparks”, while enhancing the
development of contemporary professional art.
Ritums will be recording the process with timelapse so stay tuned for more as the painting progresses.
Programme of the festival:
June 2, all day long – creating the 3D drawings in “Mežaparks”. 19.30 – meeting and greet the artists (exact meeting place will be announced).
June 3, all day long – creating the 3D drawings in “Mežaparks”. 19.30 – meeting and greet the artists (exact meeting place will be announced).
June 4 – wrap-up of the festival, awarding the artists, creative workshops and performances.
